It is ridiculous that a judge couldn't resist changing the schedule so a Jewish school didn't have to play on a Saturday...

Judges should get involved in issues for one of only two reasons: there ihttp://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gifs a question involving legality of an action or there is a question regarding whether one party is violating its contractual obligations.

Would it have been 'nice' if the schedule was changed? Sure. But did the kids have the legal right to insist on it being changed? No.

Yet the parents of these kids, being the poster boys and girls for the entitlement generation, felt that they had a legal right to anything they couldn't otherwise get... so they sued. What jerks.

And some judge who couldn't figure out when and where it is appropriate to say 'sorry, but there is no legal issue' had to step in. What a jerk.

And to no surprise, the comment censors at Commentary haven't deemed worthy my critique of Jonathan
Tobin's endorsement of this decision.
