If the McCain campaign truly believed the NYT is not a journalistic operation, then why don't they kick the NYT off the campaign bus? And while they're at it, refuse to acknowledge the NYT at press conferences and refuse to accept anyone from the NYT as a questioner at the Presidential debates?
Note that I don't disagree with the McCain campaign, but it's one thing to mouth off about how they're a house organ for the Obama campaign and another thing to actually back up those complaints with action.
