While most of those commenting on Pelosi's tantrum over Cheney saying that the Congressional Democrats' plan for Iraq would "validate the Al Qaeda strategy" have focused on the hypocritical nature of her criticizing Cheney for his having criticized her, me thinks it would be nice if she actually responded to the substance of his comments...

Does she think her strategy for Iraq (whatever it is) doesn't play into the Al Qaeda strategy for Iraq (whatever that is)? If so, then she ought to explain why the terrorists won't be emboldened if Bush followed her advice. She ought to explain why the terrorists won't consider themselves to have won. She ought to explain why she thinks America will be better protected against future Al Qaeda attacks - here at home as well as abroad - if we did what she wants than if we did what Bush wants to do.

After all, isn't the substance of what Cheney said more important than the way he said it?
