How many of those encouraging Bush to ignore public opinion and increase the number of troops in Iraq have complained at one time or another about those in government not being responsive to the people?
How many of those on the right who are taking shots at the Edwards campaign for hiring Amanda Marcotte think the Edwards campaign cares about what they think?
Why is it a "non-sale" to claim that one supports the troops but not what the troops are doing? Isn't the whole premise of "love the sinner, hate the sin" based on not letting our dislike for what someone does not cloud our love for the person?
