Given that 'Republican' Congressman Tom Davis has pushed for the overwhemingly Democratic District of Columbia to have a real vote in the House (which would further pad the Democratic majority), pushed one of the largest earmarks ever, a $1.5 BILLION handout to the DC Metro system, wants to give DC a couple hundred million dollars extra, wants the government to get even more involved in regulating tobbaco, and has, notwithstanding his leadership position, just voted against Bush's surge, just why are we supposed to like him?
