When Pat Robertson said that God was behind Ariel Sharon's stroke , I said it would be nice that the White House moved so quick to condemn Robertson, it would sure be nice if they were as quick to condemn the idiots on the left side of the aisle...

Well, along comes (idiot) New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin saying that Katrina took place because "God is mad at America" and at black communitities for tearing themselves apart with violence and political infighting.

Can you imagine the outcry that would have resulted had a Republican suggested that God was pissed off at blacks? Hint: a multiple of the magnitude of what followed Robertson's warning that Disney was tempting fate with its accomodation of gays.

So, where's the outrage? Where are the liberals who jumped all over Robertson? Where's the White House on this one? Why the silence?

Could the silence have anything to do with the fact that Nagin is both black and a Democrat - and somehow the combination entitles one to a criticism-free life?

Nah, right?
