Via Ace, I came across this post which has Cindy Sheehan complaining that Bush is 10 times the terrorist Bin Laden is. In her words:
“I would say 30,000 more or less have died as a result of the initial incursion and the ongoing violence against Iraqis,” said George on December 12, 2005. Even if one accepts this very low guess-ti-mate by George, his policies have been responsible for ten times the 3000 deaths on September 11, 2001. By his own admission, he is ten times the terrorist that Osama ever was". Boy, is she wrong. She's not including in Bin Laden's column the number killed in the attack on the US embassies (220 dead), Khobar Towers (20 dead), the USS Cole (17 dead), in Somalia (18 Americans), the synagogue in Tunisia (21 dead) and the London bombings (52 dead). So, adding the above to the number killed on 9/11 2,986, Bin Laden's real body count is 3,334... which makes Bush only 9 times the terrorist Bin Laden. C'mon Cindy, get your math straight. What kind of an example do you want to set for people? |
