The Washington Post writes critically of former German Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder going to work for a Russian company to is building a natural gas pipleline that Schroeder pushed while Chancellor, saying that raises questions about why "Schroeder was so keen to see this pipeline project launched" and that it might have been because Schroeder was looking to create "his own future place of employment".

Well, it's nice to see the Post call a whore a whore.

So what do you call those who use the rantings of a corrupt sell-out to advance their own political agenda?

For that is what the Post did numerous times when they used Schroeder's criticisms of Bush policy as fodder for their own attacks on the Bush Administration. It would be nice if the Post acknowledged that perhaps Schroeder wasn't in fact the poster boy they should have rallied behind.... but I'm not holding my breath.
