Back in the day, many pro-Iraq War types speculated that support for the war - or at the least, a better understanding of why this guy needed to be removed from power - would increase once Hussein's trial started and details of his crimes against the Iraqi people came to light...

Well, his trial has started and what the MSM is featuring is not what was hoped for, but rather Hussein's antics in court, profiles of his new defense attorney, Ramsey Clark, protests from the other defense attorneys and so on...

Sure, there are details about Hussein's alleged crimes... but they take second place behind coverage of Hussein himself.

Now, why would the media, which usually has no problem detailing the specifics of your run-of-the-mill local murder trial, shy away from leading with the graphic details of what Hussein did to the Iraqi people?

Media Bias, anyone?
