A sign that we're just not that serious about winning the war on terror is the military disciplining soldiers for burning the dead bodies of Taliban fighters, even though there is nothing in the rules against doing so, they did not know anything was wrong and their actions were motivated by hygienic concerns.

When we spend more time worrying about how our enemy thinks of us than looking for ways to kill them, we're in trouble.
