Michelle Malkin has a post on how environmental activism might have derailed efforts to shore up the levee system around New Orleans. This reminds me of the charges that not using asbestos insulation in certain sections of the Twin Towers might have contributed to their collapse earlier than would have otherwise been the case.

The way I look at it, despite all their chicken little screaming, environmentalists have absolutely no proof that global warming has caused even one death in the world.... while their antics are now alleged to have killed thousands.... just here at home in America.

And they say we're the ones living in denial? Idiots.
