Look no further for proof that we have all but given up the fight against illegal aliens than this Washington Post op-ed written by the wife of an illegal alien. She gives her name and says where she lives... with apparently no fear whatsoever that the INS will coming calling for her husband. More proof: the INS didn't bother showing up to collect the illegal aliens arrested for trespass (and now released) in New Hampshire. Nor did the INS bother to show up in Herndon, Virginia during that town's discussions on building a day laborer center that would in large part serve as a gathering place for illegal aliens.
If the INS can't bring itself to just show up and deport the illegal aliens that are all but handed to them, then what the heck are they doing? And why are we just taking it? As always, thanks to La Shawn for the link...
