Protest tactics of the left... when the aren't throwing food, they are asking asking obscene questions of Supreme Court Justices... The New York Post reports a gay NYU student asked Scalia whether Scalia sodomized his wife... while Mrs. Scalia was in attendance. What kind of a sick mind does one have to have to do such a class-less thing?
But there's a silver lining in the story... my daughter wants to go to NYU, a pretty expensive choice at $40,000+ a year. This will make it a lot easier, a whole lot easier, to tell her no. UPDATE: Washington Square News, NYU's student newspaper, has much more on the cordial welcome the NYU students gave Scalia. The paper did run an editorial on Scalia's visit, but they condemned him and not the protestors. And, perhaps to nobody's surprise, Eric Berndt, the student with the wonderful manners, is a law student. If that is what our law schools are turning out these days, it looks like I'll be able to save even more money by not sending my daughter to law school either.
