Powerline has the goods on the fishy GOP talking points memo being played on ABC and in the Washington Post...

Powerline thinks that the memo came from a Democrat looking to embarrass the GOP. Yet, some of Powerline's arguments for why the memo wouldn't have come from a GOP staffer could apply to arguing that it did NOT come from a Democratic staffer either - unless only Democrat staffers are capable of getting Terri's name and the number of the bill wrong and make a couple of typos to boot.

It's possible that it was created and circulated by someone on the side of intervention. It's possible that the memo was created and circulated by someone looking to embarrass those in favor of intervention. And, as we've seen over the past days, it's not just the Democrats who are anti-intervention. It's possible that a GOP anti-interventionist (maybe one of those process conservatives or RINOs) created and circulated the memo in an attempt to embarrass their colleagues.... just as it's conceivable that a Democrat created and circulated the memo to embarrass the GOP... just as it's conceivable that Karl Rove created and circulated the memo in order to embarrass the Democrats, just as it's conceivable that ABC and the Washington Post created and circulated the memo in order to embarrass the GOP... just as it's conceivable that ABC and the Washington Post created and circulated the memo in order to pull in some ratings points...

My bet is it was created and circulated by someone who just doesn't play fair...

UPDATE: In the Agora has much more, including a response from ABC News
