So, history repeats itself, the second time as farce... Remember when Bush gazed into the eyes of Russian President Vladimir Putin and decided he knew the man’s soul, here was a man he could trust?
Remember when the man Bush could trust took part in moving Hussein's weapons out of Iraq prior to our invasion? Remember when the man Bush could trust was against our invasion of Iraq, in large part to protect Russia's oil deals with Hussein, even though he had evidence of Iraq plans to attack the United States? Well, now the man Bush could trust now swears that Iran is not up to no good, that Iran has NO plans to develop nuclear weapons. Heck, with his track record, how can we not trust Putin on this? Especially on such an insignificant matter such as this?? UPDATE: Captain Ed hits the same notes... |
